In Lomé suburbs, the capital of Togo, Danaye Kanlanfeï designed a place dedicated to puppets. Inside his home the puppets he’s created over the years share the space with the neighbourhood’s children. Danaye, once director of the National Puppet Theatre of Togo, spends most of his time in this house. He continues to create and rehearse his shows, building new puppets, living the same passion since his childhood. From Lomé to Dapaong (his hometown in the North) discover the everyday life, creations and shows of one of the last puppet masters of the African continent.
