Saïgon, early 2000’s. Vu is a photography apprentice, Thang lives of small traffic and Van dreams to become a dancer. Reunited by the tumult of the city, they will have to face the reality of a country in full mutation.

Phan Dang Di’s films have been screened in festivals around the world including
Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Hong-Kong, Moscow, Stockholm, Vancouver, Busan… He won the ACID prize as well as the SACD prize in Cannes for his first film “Bi don’t be afraid!” His second film “Big Father, Small Father and Other Stories” was selected in competition for the Golden Bear in Berlin. He is also a teacher of film history and screenwriting. He is also the founder and president of Autumn Meeting, bringing together every year the new generation of Vietnamese and Asian filmmakers.
