Soumbedioune is a small port of Dakar, the buzzing capital of Senegal. It is off the coast of the big city that the pirogues with their rainbow colors leave daily to track down the fish that support the fishing communities and their large families. The fishing techniques are rudimentary: a line, a hook… But the most important thing is the skillful fingers of the sailors and a perfect knowledge of the liquid expanse that gives them its benefits. A life spent between the blue of the sky and the ocean.
